Baystate Health Urgent Care is NOT an emergency room.
If you are experiencing serious symptoms, such as chest pain or difficulty breathing, or if you have sustained a serious injury, please dial 911 immediately.
Baystate Health Urgent Care provides adults and children ages 6 mos+ with convenient, walk-in urgent care services for a wide range of non-emergency medical issues. With on-site X-ray and laboratory services, we can perform commonly needed tests like rapid strep, complete most blood work on-site, provide X-rays and prescribe medications. Please be aware we are not always able to accommodate all patients everyday. We do our best to treat as many patients as possible everyday.
At Baystate Health Urgent Care, we provide treatment for common illnesses, including:
- Cuts, scrapes and/or minor lacerations
- Muscle aches and/or pains
- Sore throats and/or colds
- Urination with difficulty and/or pain
- Coughs and/or wheezing
- Vomiting and/or diarrhea
- Earaches
- Minor eye injuries and/or infections
- Fractures and/or sprains
- Minor motor-vehicle injuries (initial visit only)
- Insect bites and/or stings
- Evaluation of rashes
- STD evaluations
We can perform a variety of X-rays onsite. Our comprehensive list of X-rays include upper extremities (hand, wrist, elbow, arm), lower extremities (foot, ankle, knee, leg), chest (lungs), spine/lumbar, abdominal and pelvis/hip. Please note that X-ray services are not walk-in–they must be part of a full visit.
We perform a number of onsite lab services that can reduce wait times for results and the potential fees associated with having to go to another location. Our onsite lab services include urinalysis & urine pregnancy testing, flu, mono, rapid strep testing and more. Please note that lab services are not walk-in–they must be part of a full visit.
